Heading South

26 Jan

Lately, I have been shopping for or with my clients and helping them pack for their Winter Getaways. Most of them are traveling somewhere warm, Florida, the Carribbean or Mexixo. The prints, bright colors and airy fabrics are all so inspiring. It is so refreshing to see color again, what a contrast it is against this dismal weather we have been having in the Northeast. The items that I have been purchasing most are; versatile dresses – something that can be worn during the day or transition into the night with just a swap of accessories, bold colorful jewelry, floral prints, and of course bright colored clothing. What I love about some of the items I found is that they can worn on their trip and then be re-introduced in spring with just a few changes. Like the printed Juicy dress, for example, it can definitely be worn on the trip with a flat sandals, then again in the Spring with flats or knee-high boots and maybe a leather  jacket if the temperature is still a little chilly.
