Whale Watching- Cape Cod Style.

29 Aug

Cape Cod has been a place that I have wanted to vacation for quite some time, my husband and I finally ventured there last week. We stayed in 2 different areas, Yarmouth and Orleans, and traveled around to various towns in between. “The Cape” was beautiful and the weather could not have been better. It was Sunny and in the high 70’s to low 80’s practically everyday with no humidity. Our last day there we took a ride up to Provincetown to go Whale Watching. The trip so far had exceeded my expectations of unexpected natural beauty, kayaking in the Bass River, dunes, nature walks, seeing seals while beaching on Nausset Beach, but this excursion was by far the most exhilarating!  It was mesmerizing to watch these humongous creatures swim in the ocean with greatest of ease, frolicking and playing. We were lucky enough to catch them while they were feeding. According to the Boat Captain, there is no particular schedule or time of day that the whales eat. Needless to say, we were thrilled to experience this amazing sight.

Before the Whales emerge out of the water, an air bubble would form letting you know they were about to make an appearance.

We are hungry!
